IXION'S WEIMAR BURLESQUE

IXION's "Weimar Burlesque" brings to life Kurt Weill's music written in Germany between 1927 and 1934. The cast of Cabaret Dancers includes many new faces: AUDREY BLOOM, HUDSON JEWEL, MILLE LENA, ROSABELLE SELAVY, JOSEPHINE ST. JAMES and TESS TRUEHEART. Vocalist ADRIAN HARTLEY sings as Lotte Lenya with ALBERT GARZON on piano, as Kurt Weill. The script by Uke Jackson is largely drawn from the couple's letters, making this show the latest of Ixion Burlesque's historical recreations.

Volunteer!
It's time to dust off your sea shells and wax those fins! This year's Coney Island Mermaid Parade is just around the corner on Saturday, June 19th. Without volunteers the parade couldn't stay afloat.

We rely on over 150 volunteers each year for a successful parade. Volunteer positions include registration, check-in, merchandise, crowd control, wrangling, surveys, holding signs and hustling the crowd. Volunteers will be handsomely rewarded with generous sunshine (fingers crossed!), salt air, and the much-coveted volunteer t-shirt!
