We really dont need furniture stores across the street from the amusement park and they been there long time.....there are LAWS and they need to be STRICT on this. Also what the hell is that car dealership still doing across from the coney island usa building? This pisses me off, all this crappy stores should be replaced with restaurants and Silvonier shops, GET THEM THE HELL OUT WHEN CONEY ISLAND BUILDS ITSELF BACK UP.

They took out that junk stuff people sell , and i hear the furniture is ok because there in a building but NO OK, GET THE **** OUT, move to coney island avenue, DAMMIT!

Dick whats taking so long to get them all out and replace it with proper things?

The issue here is that the city refuses to enforce its own rules and regulation. If the zoning says no furniture stores, but the buildings department doesn't enforce the regulations, there's nothing that anyone can do.

The best way to focus attention to these matters is to call 311 or call the Community Board (718-266-3001) and (politely) register a complaint.

There are weekly data collection sessions on a mayoral level, so if 300 people call and complain for a few weeks, something usually will happen in response.
