Do you have any photos of it in the air (in-flight) between the roof and the ground?   Your pictures skip from the roof to the round.

Anyone know the status of the rocket now that it's down?

The fact that they took it down in one piece could be a good sign....  Does anyone know if someone has taken it?  Is it being sent off somewhere also in one piece?    If it was going for scrap, wouldn't they just cut it apart up on the roof rather than rent a big crane to take it gently down?

Good job, Capt Nemo.  I got there at 4:30, a lot of tension in the air.

Wow...when was the last time that the hatch was actually open?
Wonder if anything was still inside, like the seating, projector etc?

It turns out the Rocket weighs 14,000 lbs!
That's 4,000 more than we estimated.

It was a sad day, for even the sky was crying.  It seemed this wasnt a planned media event.  Several photographers seemed to show up the last moment.

thank you for being there to record the moment on film.  Were you just walking by or did you see it from a window?  In a way I'm glad I wasn't there to see it in person.

I happen to be walking by.  There was the other smaller crane that was used to disasemble the Pirate Ride.  It didnt seem the Waterflume was touched yet.  Then I saw this crane by the Boardwalk.  There was only one reason to have this crane there.  I dont think it was tall enough to to take apart the tower.

A very sad nightfall, light rain freezing on the boardwalk, tension filled air, several people talking reverently near the rocket tail.
