CIUSA Artistic Director Risks Flesh cuts to balance Budget cuts!
Coney Island USA, brings new meaning to the phrase “Give until it hurts!” 
In response to drastic cuts in NY arts funding, Dick D. Zigun, CIUSA Founder and Artistic Director has agreed to stand in as a human target for the Guinness World Record knife thrower, Throwdini to benefit Coney Island USA!
For every $100 pledged, Throwdini will aim one of his knives at Dick with all proceeds going directly to Coney Island USA and its programs.
You can choose to give any amount but for those who pledge $100 or more, Throwdini will announce your name before he takes aim.
You can also dedicate your knife in honor of or in memory of a loved one. Promptly after the knives have been thrown, video of the event will be posted on YouTube where your dedication will be preserved for posterity!

Coney Island USA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit multi-arts center based in the amusement park area of the Coney Island neighborhood of Brooklyn New York. Donations are tax-deductible.
This Event will occur April 16, 2009 at the Coney Island USA Spring Fundraising Gala.
You may sponsor a knife even if you do not attend the event.
