Have your next event in a Coney Island Landmark

Located in the heart of world-famous Coney Island at 1208 Surf Ave., our landmarked building is a wonderful venue for your next party, wedding, or function. We can help you create a celebration your guests will never forget. We have several spaces to choose from, including the Freak Bar, Sideshows by the Seashore, and Arts Annex. For intimate birthday celebrations, large-scale weddings, and everything in between, contact us for information about our facilities rentals.

About our Spaces

  • All rental spaces are subject to availability.

    In-season schedules (April 1 to November 1) are extremely limited, and weekends are typically unavailable due to our heavy program schedule.

    Programs can be canceled for an increased fee.

    A deposit of 20% of the total rental fee may be required to hold a date on our calendar and becomes non-refundable within 30 days of the event.

    Coney Island USA reserves the right to refuse rentals to anyone for any reason.

  • The Freak Bar can accommodate around 80 to 100 people standing comfortably, and about 80 seated comfortably.

    The Shooting Gallery/ Annex

    The Sideshows By The Seashore space accommodates up to 125 seated and has a stage with a dressing room.

    Spaces can be combined to accommodate larger groups.

  • All spaces have sound systems with hookups for music players and microphones.

  • We offer event space only. Catering services, table, and chair rentals, event planning, etc… is the responsibility of the client.

    Bar packages: Bar service, if desired, is available for all rentals. We offer a 20% discount on beverages served from our bar during private events plus bartender wage.

    Cash Bar, your guests will pay out-of- pocket, and then bartender is free. Discount applies.

    Drink Tickets, you may distribute tickets to your guests. Ticket drinks go on your tab and guests may pay out of pocket for additional drinks.

    Bar tab charges will be billed post-event. Our bar offers Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages (juice, soda, water, etc.)

    Hard liquor is not available under our license and may not be brought on the premises without a caterer with an off-premise event license. This is a legal requirement and can not be circumvented. Bringing liquor on premises without a license is not permitted under any circumstances.

  • Bar - $1000

    Theatre - $1,500

    Includes 4 Hours plus 1 Hour Set Up/Load In

    Additional Hours - $350 per hour

  • Bar - $1200

    Museum - $2000

    Building - $5000

    Includes 4 Hours plus 1 Hour Set Up/Load In

    Additional Hours - $450 per hour

  • Beer and Wine available under our license, Hard Liquor - Caterer must provide license.

    Open Bar Packages Available

    Security - $13 per hour

    Bartender - $10 per hour plus 18% gratuity

    Building Liason - $200 (required)

    Event Coordinator - Starting at $500 (subject to event details)

    Additional Staff - $12 per hour
