MORPHEUS OF CONEY ISLAND - Directed by vagabond Beaumont, USA, 6:00, World Premiere
In the liminal space that is Coney Island where spirits find hosts to inhabit, the Dreamer hears Morpheus the Dreamweaver, calling to him in his sleep. Enmeshed between realms in a symbiotic dance the two of them are locked in a moment where both reality and dream are suspended.

Heptapus - Directed by Cooper Troxell, USA, 12:15, NYC Premiere
This is the story of Yokozuna, a Japanese-American immigrant with no connection to his past, surrounded by the trappings of American culture on all sides -- British period dramas, weightlifting, inhuman medical care -- and finds no niche for himself to feel at ease. When his beloved dog is attacked on the beach by an errant octopus, he searches for some way to exorcise his grief and rage. In the refuge of his basement, he finds a way to break open his protective armor. This film is a memory of a childhood at the beach, the summer Princess Diana died, as seen through a kaleidoscope -- and the underlying tensions it brought out in my family’s cultural backgrounds.

Wonder Wheel - Directed by Caleb John Cushing, USA, 10:36, Brooklyn Premiere
A couple goes on a date at an amusement park.

Joey & Sarah Go to Coney Island - Directed by Max Rumble, USA, 10:11
Joey is excited to perform a couple songs at a Brooklyn open mic, as he knows Sarah (the girl he's been crushing on since elementary school) will be there. Unfortunately for him, she abruptly exits mid song. They make plans to spend a day together at Coney Island.
