RUSA LGBTQ+ and Music of Curiosities presents a mesmerizing evening of music that celebrates the vibrant and diverse voices of Eurasian immigrants. 

Showcasing a lineup of exceptionally talented Russian-speaking artists including Coney Island’s own award-winning bard Ellina Graypel from Belarus, firebrand Russian-Israeli rapper Simply Vika, Kalmyk poet and songwriter Ellara, absolute vocal powerhouse and the winner of “The Voice Georgia” Salome Katamadze, opera maestro Eduard Sidorov, and saxophone virtuoso Maksim Mitrofanov, who all come from various corners of Russia. Hosted by RUSA LGBTQ+‘s National Coordinator and another Coney Island native - Maxxxim!

Prepare for a musical journey of cultures and genres. From the grandiose Soviet “Estrada”, to modern pop grooves, and even the sounds of Ukrainian rock and Belarusian folk, RUSA’s Music of Curiosities show will be a one-of-a-kind celebration of music, resilience and community.

Music of Curiosities and RUSA LGBTQ+ proudly showcases the talents of these Eurasian immigrant musicians, offering a platform for their voices to be heard and appreciated. This concert serves not only as a delightful evening of music but also as a testament to the strength and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community, and contributes to RUSA LGBTQ+'s ongoing efforts to build a more inclusive society. 

By celebrating the diverse talents of these incredible artists and stories of queer individuals, RUSA LGBTQ+ paves the way for a future where everyone can thrive and be embraced for who they are, regardless of language, background and country of origin.

RUSA LGBTQ+ is a 501(c)3 non-profit and community-organization that champions the rights and empowerment of Russian-speaking LGBTQ+ individuals.
