Thanks for another great Mermaid Parade and Ball!

A message from our Artistic Director, Adam Rinn…

I started writing my day after Mermaid Parade post and it turned into an endless megilla.

So let's cut to the chase. I want to say thank you to the entire cast at the Coney Island Circus Sideshow, Kita St. Cyr, Jack Sullivan, Alaska Lostboy, Lys Obsidian, Niki Brisco, La Reine TheThrill, Gin Minsky, Aurora North, and Arrie Fae Bronson-Davidson, the entire management team and the incredible staff at Coney Island USA, James Fitzsimmons, Patrick Wall, Laure Leber, Amyris Colon, and Rob Leddy.

Jen Gapay and her parade production crew for months, months, and months of behind-the-scenes work. Our Royalty, Dr. Dave Chokshi, his lovely family, and Mx Justin Vivian Bond.

All of the attendees, marchers, judges, and volunteers. All of our sponsors and Coney Island Neighbors. NYPD, FDNY, DSNY, and Parks Department. The Board of Directors at Coney Island USA.

Zenon TeaVee who assembled a beautiful line of Drag Queens and performers to march with and Sara Valentine who found a marching band to play Ramones songs! Todd Robbins and Marcus Monroe, the extraordinary emcees. Keri Sheheen for the brand new set of Parade banners.

Vix Pit, Amelia Megan, and the entire team at the Coney Island Brewery for a flawless Mermaid Parade Ball! The Coffin Daggers, The Gotham Rockets, and The Carvels NYC who each brought their blend of Noo Yawk Rock n Roll to the party, and Jerry Farley for impeccable sound!

Ms Frankie Eleanor, Genie Adagio, Zenon, Allison Garber, Audrey Love and Rita N. Wink for the most high energy burlesque show I've ever emceed.
