Join our local expert guide as we stroll through the streets of Coney Island to hear the stories and histories of the place that gave the world the roller coaster, the amusement park, and the hot dog. You’ll learn how Coney Island has influenced everything from movies, to magic, sideshows, tattooing, horse racing, premature infants, and organized crime.
Coney Island, a place that just might have more amazing history per square mile than anywhere else on earth!

Walking tours will proceed rain or shine (Coney Island is beautiful in the rain).
In the event of severe weather conditions or other circumstances beyond the tour operator's reasonable control, we reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule tours. If the tour has to be cancelled the customer can either receive a full refund or reschedule to another available tour date.
Customer cancellations
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour departure will receive a full
refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the tour or failure to appear for a scheduled tour cannot be refunded.
Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Part of the tour includes walking over the Coney Island Boardwalk and may also include walking over uneven sidewalks, curbs, stairs, across streets, or other unforeseen hazards. Walking tour participants voluntarily assume all risks of injury, accident, illness, property damage, or other loss arising from participation in the tour.
Please note, while the Coney Island Boardwalk is accessible, the Coney Island Museum is
located on the second floor and is not wheelchair accessible at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Video Recording
Please enjoy the tour and take photographs of the sites in beautiful Coney Island, but please no video or audio taping of the tour. Let others experience the tour and Coney Island first hand.
