Puppet Homecoming 2022: Lilypad Puppet Theatre
A variety show of crankies, live music and assorted absurdities. Intended for an adult audience, this is the best-of from a 2 hour show we produce annually in Ithaca. Pieces will include a true story of a Russian immigrant childhood in Brooklyn, an absurd musical farce, a horror tale about humanoid pigs and a crankie made of fabric rolled between two human "cranks".
Puppet Homecoming 2022: The Gottabees
After a sudden storm, Sylvie and her loving family of homespun creatures find themselves in need of a new home. Luckily, they have an audience full of people who can help them out! Go Home Tiny Monster is a wildly creative theatrical ode to a community's generosity.

Will have an overarching theme of inviting in puppeteer ancestors, and highlighting the rootlike networks between puppeteers, with special attention to groups and individuals that do not always get the shine they so deserve.

From out of nothing, an ancient god’s divine laughter creates the universe, then promptly abandons the scene. Ruled over by flimsy paper authorities, the newly created masses attempt to escape the darkness of the suffering valley with help from The Divinity Supply Company.
Puppet Homecoming 2022: Jaime Sunwoo
Join multidisciplinary artist Jaime Sunwoo for an interactive workshop on the puppetry in "Specially Processed American Me", her surreal autobiographical play using Spam, the canned meat, as a portal into her Asian American upbringing and her family's experiences of the Korean War.

The Aricamians, Marikata, Oilay, and Pleasurn, get kicked off Aricama, the land of practice, play, and healing, for their sword fighting shenanigans and have to go to Discipline School. Will Marikata liberate her frustration? Can fun and discipline be friends? And how many people will be sacrificed? (Oh what!) Find out in this hypnotic, audience participatory, metaphysical, energetic one hour show!
